Torridon and Kinlochewe

Thanks to everyone who turned up to Kinlochewe Village Hall on Sunday despite the rain. I really enjoyed the class – it is lovely to see people’s enthusiasm and enjoyment at looking at something new for the first time.

Let’s pencil in October 25th for the next session, and the 4th Sunday of the Month after that, assuming there are enough of us to keep it going.

Torridon residential:

A few people were asking about the residential next month in the village hall at Torridon. The weekend is looking at an introductory form from the ancient Wudang lineage, and as such will be new to almost everyone attending. All my residentials are suitable to beginners as much as advanced practitioners – they are there to supplement the things we do in class.

Anyone wishing to attend as a non-residential student is welcome to. Tuition will start each day at 9am and finish 5 – 5:30, with a break for soup and sandwiches at lunch. There will probably be an additional practice session in the evening from 7:30 – 9pm (I am currently discussing the tuition with Chris). Non-residential students will be charged £70 for the weekend.

Hi Douglas,Thank you very much for yesterday’s class at Kinlochewe. I really enjoyed it, and would very much like to continue. Unfortunately I will be away on Oct. 25th. and the next planned class on 3rd Sunday in Nov (15th Nov.), but will be back on 4th Sunday (22nd Nov.) (Did you not say every 4th Sunday for Kinlochewe class?)I would also like to attend the Torridon weekend, but there is a Pilates class on the Saturday, so it looks as if that is ruled out for me.Can you let me know about the classes please?Kind regardsAvril

You are quite right – I meant the 4th Sunday of the month. I appreciate that people may not be able to make every month, but hopefully if we can get people meeting up with each other to practice each week, then there is a chance to catch up on anything that was missed.
